What not to use

We advise against the following, some may be obvious, some are from experience:
  • PVA or other water-based sealants
    • This will not protect your work
  • Gems embellishments * 
  • Foam embellishments *
  • Standard water-based felt-tipped pens
  • Watercolour paints


* It has been shown that birds and wild animals can eat these and it will harm or kill them
