Our updated website
Once upon a time, these blog pages were our main website, but we outgrew them.
We now have a new streamlined website for all the necessary information. These pages with the links in the menu above, will be undergoing an overhaul as we transfer the essential information over to the new website. What we will be leaving here is the blog posts and other essentials like the tutorials etc.
Please feel free to visit our website here or by clicking the image above.
You will notice that the website address is the same, so there's no need to update any bookmarks. The blog pages have gone back to its host domain.
To keep the top menu on our website simple, you can access this blog via the "Visit Blog Pages" on the front page of our crisp, new website.

From now until the end of the summer, Taff Rocks are asking all our rocker friends, family and supporters to paint as many ladybug / ladybird rocks as possible. This is what a 'drop-a-rock' event is all about, find or create, share, hide, repeat.

Drop in open day
This is so exciting! Ahead of the former Smyrna Chapel becoming available for hire on Monday 25th April, we are holding a 'drop-in' open day.
You are welcome to submit a booking application for hire before this for any date available from the 25th onward.
You are invited to attend the
Drop-in Open Day

between 12 and 4pm

The former Smyrna Chapel is available to hire by any individual, group, organisation or business for your own activities such as:
- Meetings, formal and informal
- Craft group / activity
- Coffee mornings / afternoons
- Mobile play groups
And so much more. Regular bookings are welcomed.

Smyrna Chapel Reopening Soon for Community Use
We are pleased and massively excited to announce , that with the help of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, Invest Local Ynysowen, to name just one of the generous and marvellous contributors, that the Smyrna Chapel has found a new lease of life once again serving the community!

Anyone interested in a Mindfulness Mandala Class?
Following the end of the previous community Mandala Classes for beginners, which were extremely popular, we polled our members about how, where and when the next ones should run.
The next classes will run a little different as we have determined that some young people are interested and can concentrate for the length of time for allotted for the classes. These young people will need to be accompanied by an adult. However, the accompanying adult does not need to participate if they do not wish to.
