Autumn-Fest

Autumn is fast approaching! But you don't need Taff Rocks to tell you this, you only have to look at the trees and see the yellows, browns and crimsons coming through.

The start of autumn, meteorologically, begins on the 1st or September or the 22nd / 23rd September if you 'work' from the astronomical calendar.

For the month of September, Taff Rocks would like to invite you to participate in their Autumn-Fest month of autumnal rock creations in the comfort of your own home and with your family.

Autumn, the ending of the summer and the season before winter, involves many things including ...
  • The turning of the trees from greens to reds, oranges, yellows, purples, browns etc
  • Harvests
Your rocks can include any or all of these colours as well a scenes of harvest.

Some major sporting events also start or are still happening this month in the UK, like ...
  • Cycling tour of the UK
  • Football
  • Rugby
Your rocks can include any works of art you wish to share with the outside world. Just because the seasons are changing, rock hunting can still happen.

If you need help on how to prepare and paint your rocks, see here. Then share your work on the Taff Rocks Facebook group and hide them
