Smiley Halloween Pumpkin

A happy pumpkin, easy to follow tutorial. Enjoy!

A fantastic addition to your Halloween display and will certainly make someone smile when set free and shared.

Due to its simplicity, we won't add lots of text in the instructions, but will keep it as simple as possible and minimal text.
  • Always remember to wash and dry your rocks first
  • Once dried if your rock is dark in colour, give it a base coat on white first and then block paint the whole rocks in a Halloween orange colour

  • Draw some leaf shapes for 'hair' then fill them in with green

  • Time to add a face to this beauty. I drew them in with pencil first. Some triangles for the eyes and a big smiley mouth with some teeth.

  • Time to outline the 'hair'. One leaf at a time. You can also add some swirly lines / ringlets coming from the leaves if you wish

  • Now add some details in those leaves.
  • Time to add some highlights.
    • If you added the ringlets to the 'hair', add some white highlights to the bottoms of each circle / ring
    • Using yellow, add some highlights to the edge of the eyes, nose and mouth.

Add text on the reverse of your rock
