Using Colouring Books For Inspiration

I have been asked, in the past, where I get some of my inspiration from. I am unashamedly a great user of the internet and kids colouring books.

The reason why I prefer kids colouring books is because of the simplicity of some of the pages, which allows me to directly copy or even just get the ideas.

These little caterpillars are just so sweet! If you change the colour of his face, you can turn an 'ordinary' caterpillar into The Hungry Caterpillar!

Finger painted flowers, a beautiful and simple little flower of any colour your desire. Creating finger painted flower rocks couldn't be easier, even for little fingers, under adult supervision. After all, we don't want our little ones putting their paint-y fingers in their mouths, even if the pain is non-toxic.

With the coming of spring, comes the buzzing of the bees. Creating bumble bee rocks couldn't be easier when using this easy finger painted method. It's even suitable for little fingers, under supervision. After all, we don't want our little ones licking the paint, even if it is non-toxic.

I don't know about you, but I've seen a quite a few bumblebees busying themselves around the garden over the last week or more. Get busy getting buzy with bizzyyy little bees and let's celebrate that!!!!!!!!

British Science Week 2019

This week, 8th March to 17th March 2019, is British Science Week. A ten day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. 

We'd like to encourage you to take part, either as part of your community or as part of your school. Taff Rocks is not running any BSW activities, but we will be looking into how we can for future years.

This year's theme is "Journeys", as members of Taff Rocks HQ are keen on space and astronomy, we have chosen our journey theme as "Space Travel". 

Add photos of you science-y themed rocks to our group before you send them off on their own fantastic journeys.

Taff Rocks Rock School: We Did It!: Taff Rocks, the fully constituted organisation! On Monday the 4th of March 2019, Taff Rocks became a fully constituted Not-For-Profit* Organisation. This does not mean that you now have to start paying for finding, hiding, creating or even being a member of the online Taff Rocks Facebook Group.
